St. Nicholas School

Mission & Philosophy

Mission Statement

For over a quarter of a century, Saint Nicholas School has welcomed children of all faiths into the celebration of learning and embraced them with Christian love. Established in 1977, under the auspices of the Greek Orthodox Church, Saint Nicholas is a family-oriented school serving a diverse student body from Pre-School through Grade Eight. Each child is treated as an individual with talents that must be developed.

Saint Nicholas School is an academic community united in a philosophy, which is dedicated to building academic character along with artistic, social, physical, and spiritual development. This philosophy is achieved through a secure and stimulating Christian environment of structure and order, where a strong foundation of subject matter occurs through a carefully planned sequence of study. Students are challenged to reach their full potential, while developing a sense of independence and self-confidence.
